About Living Pool Church


Living Pool Church was founded in 2010 and we felt God had called us to be part of what God was doing in the Australia and around the world.
The name Living Pool Church was birthed out of a prophetic word that was for the West of Sydney. "No longer will the city or suburbs remain in stagnation but be a pool of life and revival”.
We believe that God is restoring both his Word and Spirit back into prominence into the Church. We felt it was important to be a church that preaches and teaches the undiluted Gospel of Grace, without a mixture of law and grace, in order to see God’s glory manifest in and through his church. Like Martin Luther discovered during his days we believe we are continuing in a grace reformation that is sweeping throughout the world.
We feel that God has called us to equip people to walk in the freedom of the Kingdom; to be free from old covenant mindsets of guilt and condemnation in order to walk in the power and liberty as sons of God. And to be throughly equipped to walk and fulfil our divine destinies and callings in life.

Our vision moves and motivates us towards our goal.

“I see a glorious, radiant bride, the beloved bride of Christ that is clothed in beauty and splendour. A bride who is so overwhelmed, captivated and motivated by God’s unconditional love and acceptance, who carries and stewards the glory of God into all the earth. I see her spreading rapidly around the world as she stretches out with her loving and compassionate hand. And I see the church as a place where life begins; as a pool of living water and whoever comes into it comes into life.”


What We Believe


We believe it is important to lay down our beliefs for all to see, it keeps us focused and accountable.
  • The Word of God
    We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and the revelation of God to man (2 Tim. 3:15-17; I Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21). We believe it is the highest governing authority for doctrine and life for it contains the eternal and incorruptible wisdom of our amazing God.
  • The Trinity
    We believe that there is one true God who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. That he has existed eternally as the One Living and True God in three persons of one substance, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
  • Jesus
    We believe in Jesus Christ as God, as our Lord and savior of all mankind. Jesus is the visible image of God´s being. Jesus showed us who God the Father is. In the new covenant, God`s name is Jesus. Jesus is the Word of God who became visible for all people to see. God's thoughts for people is revealed through a Jesus who showed mercy to sinners. We believe in the virgin birth and sinless humanity of Jesus Christ (Matt. 1:18-20; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22).
  • Resurrection
    We believe that Jesus Christ died and that on the third day rose from the grave. We believe in the bodily resurrection and ascension of Christ and that believers will also be resurrected (Matt. 28:1-7; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor. 15:42-58; 1 Thess. 4:13-18).
  • The Holy Spirit
    We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is our abiding Helper, Teacher, Comforter and Guide. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, God’s empowerment for life today. We believe in the present ministry of the Spirit and in the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Spirit. We believe in the practice of the laying on of hands for the empowering of the Spirit, for healing, and for recognition and empowering for service.
  • Reading with the Right Lenses
    We believe in the whole Bible, however It must be read and divided in the right way, in the light of the new covenant. Not everything is written to us but for us. Paul tells us to rightly divide the word, to distinguish between what is old covenant and what is new covenant (2 Tim. 2:15).
  • Grace
    We wholehearted believe in undeserved, unearned, unmerited grace. It cost Jesus everything to give us His grace freely. God’s promises are freely received regardless of man`s achievements, deeds or efforts. Grace is free and is received simply by faith.
  • Foundations
    We believe in grace without works of the law. Grace alone is the foundation, and it´s through faith, that we receive everything God has provided for us because of the Cross of Christ. We believe in establishing the Ecclesia’s foundation through Apostolic teaching on Grace.
  • The Gospel
    We believe that the Gospel is the ultimate good news from God! We believe that salvation is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, (Eph. 2:8, 9, Romans 10:9-10). We believe that sin separated all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God. All who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in Him and shall never perish (John 3:36; John 5:24; John 10:27-30; Rom. 8:35-39; Heb. 10:39; 1 Peter 1:5).
  • The New Covenant
    We believe that at the Cross the blood of Jesus put into effect the new covenant (Heb 9:18). He became the all sufficient sacrifice that did away with the old Covenant (Heb 9:26). Because of this, as believers, we are no longer under the dispensation of the Old Covenant of Law. God no longer imputes sin to us because we have been declared righteous through faith (2 Cor 5:19). The legal indebtedness of the old covenant was nailed to the Cross and no longer demands our obedience to it (Eph 2:15, Col 2:14), the law fulfilled in Christ! Jesus then fulfilled the Word of God after He returned to heaven by giving the Gospel of grace to the apostle Paul after his conversion. Acts.20:24, Gal.1:6-12, Eph.3:1-7, Col.1:25-27 and Heb.12:25-28.
  • No Mixtures
    We believe in preaching the pure Gospel of Grace, that is: We don´t mix old covenant with the new covenant teachings. We believe that we have the ministry of reconciliation, and that condemnation should never be mixed into the ministry. This means that our services will empowerment and encouragement you. That you`ll get to hear the truth that you are accepted and loved unconditionally by a loving and just God irrespective of our condition.
  • Our Source of Holiness
    We believe that it is His Grace, through the finished work of the cross that justified us and transforms our lives to grow in holiness that is not manipulated by guilt, laws or regulations (1 Cor. 1:30). We are transformed by intimate communion and relationship with Jesus, that He is our source of holiness not our efforts.
  • The New Nature
    We believe that we are a new creation with a new nature from heaven. We believe that we were co-crucified with Christ and that we do not have to struggle with our old sinful nature, it died with Christ (Rom 6:6). That we no longer have a sinful nature and that we get to live the new life from our new nature.
  • The Ecclesia
    We believe that Jesus established the Ecclesia (Matt. 16:18), His governmental ruling body that is meant to bring the rule and reign of the Kingdom of God into all spheres of society. To release and manifest the legislations and decrees of heaven into the earth.
  • Fellowship
    We believe that the Ecclesia is for believers. It`s the equipping place for Believer’s to walk as sons in the earth, manifesting His glory and His fruits. It is where people thrive and impact other people in their community. We believe that Jesus designed His Ecclesia to have inter-communion regardless of denomination. It is the place where we can get spiritual food and nutrition from heaven, and have fellowship with others.
  • Teachability
    We believe in not being dogmatic about doctrine. To be dogmatic about doctrine is to limit and hinder what God wants to do in and through his church. We believe in being teachable and open to ever unfolding revelation and reformation from the Holy Spirit and the Word until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God.
